    Oil Spitting From Supercharger

05 215, all stock with low hours. The SC is spitting out oil and the intake manifold had quite a bit of oil in it. I removed the SC and the seal looks fine. Also noticed there is oil gathered in the intake ducts BEFORE the SC. Does that mean its coming from the TOPS??? And why???

Nope it's the seal on the charger buddy, Usually just from visually inspecting the seal you can't notice anything but they get too hot and warp. Oil in the intake tube and the tube right after charger are a sure sign thats it. I've replaced a few with the Viton Seal located in the online store. It works perfect and a cheap fix.

The engine oil vent goes to the stock air intake. So it could be blowby..

It may be overflow coming from the crank case vent (If you overfilled the oil a tad). It's piped into the factory rubber/plastic intake hose. It will spit out the excess oil into the intake, which will be pulled to the sc and pushed into the intake manifold. Mine did the same thing, oops. Pull your dip stick, make sure it's below the top bend, then check the crank vent hose for excess oil. If it's not this, it's the seal. Good luck!

+2...If oil is in the intake track BEFORE the Scer it is usually blow by..How far up or in the intake track was the oil???If it was is just in the rubber boot by the valute then it could easily be the seal,if it is all the way back to the bypass hose than it is from the engine/TOPS...Have you changed the oil lately??Could be from overfilling the oil..
