    cooling intercooler

    Hi to everyone ,
i want to start upgrading my stock FZR engine , i ordered the riva air intake and exhaust now im looking at cooling my intercooler as the air is very hot here..
What you guy's recommend me to do ?
the RIVA Power Cooler intercooler or R&D Water-Cooled Supercharger System ?

ps im living in Greece (air temp +/-100 degrees F )and use my FZR only in the sea.

    Thanks

hopefully the riva i.c. will work for you.
personally if i had a oem intercooler i would get the watercooled housing first. but, that is me.
you might want to try and locate a used jd intercooler. those are the bomb.
if you keep the oem ic. run a dedicated line from the pump.
there are plenty of threads on this type of upgrades for you to research.

there are alot of things I would do before I would look into cooling, like and intake grate(for safety), rideplate, and prop because you are going to be on the limiter. After you have done those things then you can look into cooling.

+1. i would do the above first then fit an extra cooling line and the water cooled housing. also the spacer kit for the intercooler is another option along with the housing.

All aftermarket coolers work well. Your temps will drop right away no matter what you go for. For cost wise I would start with this then if its not right look at the housing.

I'm looking now at the R&D FZ/SHO Pro Limited Intercooler Kit , being both R&D the Cooler and the Housing the probably fit.
But if i use the Water cooled housing do i still need a Blowoff kit ? (as the housing has a internal one ?

questions questions ... i have looked true the forum a bit and learned a lot but i just want to be 100% sure befor i order stuff.
    Thanks again.

You need the B.O.V in addition to the surge protector on the housing
