    ATT vs. Verizon vs. Sprint

    Whats your experiance in carriers?

I have been with ATT for 3 years now. The service was pretty good for the most part for the first year maybe, then i ended up going through 3 iphone 3GS's since then. I love the Iphone but ATT lately has been dropping calls left and right and being a business owner, this is not good. I just signed up with Verizon and bought 2 Droid Charge phones. So far, the service everywere has been super and the Droid's are pretty nice but will take time getting used to. I talk to people all over and its not just my area, its all over with the ATT drop call problem. Hope i made the right choice with Verizon and the Droids.

i think it depends on where in the country you live. here i have never had any problems with ATT. i had verizon for a couple of months and it rarely worked. sprint also sucks here. but i also hear people in different parts of the country say ATT is awful and verizon is great.

Woody, I went back to AT&T about a year ago so we could get iPhone 4's.
We love the iPhones but I don't think AT&T service is anything to write home about.

AT&T has now bought T-Mobile just to get their towers, because it takes years to get new towers built thanks to the stupid government.

My buddy has Verizon and he loves the network; but he hated his Droid and just got the Verizon Iphone 4 and he loves it, go figure...

The two main things I do like about AT&T are the rollover minutes, and the "A List," which allows me to designate up to 10 users on our family plan and gives me unlimited free calls to anyone on that list, no matter which carrier they have.

AT&T service sucks most of the time here. Lots of dropped call, little to no 3G coverage on the newest side of the city. Of course every time that I call and complain about the crap service I get the " we have not had any other reports of this". That is with at least 10 other people that I know of in the area that has called to voice their concerns.

Guess I could move into public housing and or the more crime infested areas and have excellent 3G coverage.

IMO plans are WAYYYY too expensive on ATT and Verizon.

Once my plan expires with ATT i'm planning on doing the $25 unlimited everything virgin mobile. Coverage is great in the 2 main cities that i'm in.

Once common thing with ATT is crappy phones for me. I've had my previous razr relaced 9 times, and my now samsung phone replaced about 4 times.

Virgin is the Sprint Network. I pay $ 52 for unlimited with the work discount.
