    Angry gp1200r oil line came off! help!!!

    just bought it 2 weeks ago. 130hrs on it. carb3 oil line came off. i think i did some damage. is it possible to just change that cylinder and piston. would the pv be damaged. im so pissed. what is the worst case scenario. help dont know what to do. should i just replace those lines,and see how it runs? THIS SUCKS?

    Yes you can just replace one cylinder and piston and repair the oil lines. A lot of people like going to premix to keep this from happening again my self included. if you go back with oil injection just make sure the oil lines have plenty of slack in them use good clamps and make sure if you reuse the old lines make sure they are not brittle or break when you bend them. and inspect and clean the crank and case good.

    A compression test will tell you if you need to do the piston, that would take the guess work out of it

    whats the proper way to do the test? ground the plugwire? or just crankit?
