so have a an idea and need some opinions

I couldn't sell my one pwc and i don't want to give it way so i figured i just keep it. Its a 93 xp. I like to be able to take it to the lake with me when i go.

so my idea is make a piece that slides into the hitch which would hold the ski and then the receiver would slide into it. i know they used to make something similar for dirt bikes so u could take one with a camper. but a dirtbike is far lighter.

I have a 06 f350 SRW and the boat weighs just under 3500 pounds. so is this something you guys think is feasible?

I've been considering one of these for a stand-up. It says for stand-ups only but the little XP might fit. Not sure I'd trust hauling a 3500# boat behind it though.

I'm thinking a custom trailer shop could probably set you up with something.

You would need a Class V receiver. Still would only be 1200# Max Tongue weight.

that's exactly what i was thinking of well i doubt it weighs more them 500 pounds but i could be wrong. 10 percent of the tong weight on the trailer would be 350 pounds so that would only be about 850 pounds of tong weight.

id like to hear some more opinions.

its weighs a little less than 500 your going to need stronger shocks to level out the truck.

    you mean springs?

we put what we thought would be around 800 pounds of tong weight on it today im not gona lie its a little sketchy to me if i had a longer wheel base id probably feel alright with it. the steering is just super light if you hit good bump it gets kinda scary i think ill just throw it in the bed of the truck.
