polaris 1050 sending false oil and hot signal to computer

Hi I have an 98 polaris 1050 slxh thats sending a false hot and a false low oil to the computer and limites the revs I have read as much as I can now its time to ask for HELP..I checked the ohms on the oil sender checked good I opened the brain box and it had water and rust in it not a good sign.I dried it all out and checked some of the connectors and they looked good(not corroded). It ran good for a little bit then started limiting the rev then it went away? Did this water in my box fry the board? any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks new bee in wyoming.

Is there any corrosion on the actual terminal board? Front and back of the terminal board are good?

Replacement terminal boards are not expensive.

What are you seeing on the MFD display?

Low Oil message, or HOT message? Red lamp?

Is the MFD in good working order?

You can disconnect the connector from the back of the MFD and test ride to see if the MFD is causing the problem.

Low Oil warning is generated by the MFD itself from the oil level sender.

HOT warning is created by the engine temp sensor signal (Tan wire) which is also sent directly to the CDI to limit engine RPM.
