    crazy surge help!

    I have a 96 sea doo spx i have a surge at WOT and is worse at half throttle. im new to two stroke skis so any help would be great.

    Welcome to GH. Please read the DIY fuel system cleaning thread. replace the needle and seats and clean the fuel selector and the carb filter screens.

    i took the carbs most of the way off except for the linkage. where are the filters in the carbs?

    pop the linkage off. there is one one on fuel in side on the MAG carb. on the PTO carb it is on the side that faces the MAG carb. take the sides off and there is a little black ring of plastic that is the filter. grab it with some needle nose pliers and pull it out. use q-tips and carb cleaner to clean them.

    also there is a little hose that goes from the carbs to the crank case....what condition was that in? was it even attached? that is your pulse line. it regulates fuel delivery
