Help with SC locked and striped gear

    Hi,
I have a 2006 rxp with 32 hours the sc bearings failed, and the compressor wheel ate into the housing before it locked up, and it also so striped 1 tooth on the drive gear I haven't pulled the pto cover yet to check the flywheel, but from what I can see it looks a little rough.. I need some advise on what to do, any help greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    Corey

You are probably in for a big job. Pull the motor, split the cases, pull the front and rear covers, inspect and flush everything. Flush the full engine, oil cooler and it would be a good time to clean and inspect all of the air hoses and intake manifold. Replace the damaged components and timing chain is a good idea, too. You are probably going to be buying a new or used supercharger, as well. Might be a good time to upgrade!

Like I said before, Pull the motor, split the cases, pull the front and rear covers, inspect and flush everything. You already know you need a double gear and supercharger. Hopefully the debris didn't make it past the screens in the oil pumps to score them. If they are junk you will need to replace them, too.

You won't know anything more until you tear things apart
