Yamaha FZR Stage 3+ lost RPM after motor pulling out
I was repairing broken clutch, taking out broken teeths from the casing, so the motor was pulled out. the rev limiter on viPEC ecu is set at 8800 RPM, it was running awesome before clutch crashing (well over 80mph). Now we installed Rotax Hydraulic supercharger drive kit with 2011 oem clutch, now it goes just up to 7400-7500 RPM and 67-68mph (feels like stock) the supercharger is in great condition no damage. The slip moment is set at 11-12 nm (instructions says 10 nm) so I think it is enough to hold the boost. No errors on the dashboard. Engine running good. no surging. Any ideas guys? Thank You!

Boost Leak? Only thing I can think of...

I will check it, but we were plumbing all hoses very carefully and tight. So i don't think it's the reason. Is there a possibility that viPEC ECU forgot some settings or smth.. because ski was disconnected from battery for 2 weeks?

My guess is something with the ECU. Try pulling a log file and sending it to RIVA and have them take a look at it. And it could also be a boost leak as well.

check all the sensor connections a plug might not be all the way home.

I lost 300 rpm after removing the engine to clean out the 2011 clutch teeth, turned out some particles stretched the timming chain, jumped a tooth then broke shortly after.
Did you verify cam timing and check for damage to the chain?

I read your thread before ordering parts, so we have changed the timing chain also, even it looked like there is no any damage at all. So I guess the problem is somewhere else..

Ok stangbang, I will. I have changed rotax hydraulic kit back to stock assy, still the same RPM's (~7500) so slipping is not the problem. We checked hoses there is no boost leak, checked the sensors all connected correctly. Don't know what else could be wrong.. What is the right AFR for these stage 3+ skis? I have connected the PC to viPEC and made a run, I saw 12.3 while idle, and 9.8-10.0 while running around 6000 RPM. Does it look okay?

11.5 would be good at wot. But we wont know until your ski is running right to get a good afr reading at wot.
