06 RXT Possibly locked motor
Have an 06 RXT, has about 59 hours. It is used for tow-in surfing. I pulled the spark plugs and don't see any water, checked the oil and no water in the oil, pulled pump to ensure the pump is not locked up. Even remove the starter, it turns over when out of the engine. The guy was riding it and it just stopped.
New to 4 strokes, where do I start?

Are you sure the battery is good?
Take the venturi off of the pump and remove the pump tail cone. Reach in with a 12mm allen socket on an extension and see if you can turn the engine over manually.

check the super charger. I had one lock up, and it sounded like the motor was locked up. Pull the SC, and check that as well.

Remember the pic I posted with the destroyed valves, on the remove head thread or maybe it was the one with the flywheel bolts oh Well that boat (RXT)was on a double trailer with a RXP. I went to the river to test the rxt after a complete motor build. and all went well. so I pulled the rxp off the trailer and decided to take it for a little spin and I got about 1/4 mile down the river and cracked the throttle for a blip and bam the motor locked!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I had to walk back to the ramp in 3 feet of mud to get the rxt to tow it back just to find out the lanyard was lost along the way, CRAP. I walked half way back and found it hanging in a tree. I am leaving for vacation in playa de carmen mexico so when I get back I will see why that motor locked. probly rusted valves like the other oneThat customer is not happy

Pulled the SC and here are some pics. Doesn't look right, there are no ceramic washer. Could they be causing the motor to lock-up.

Did the motor free up? will it spin over? Now you will have to pull the front cover, and clean the ceramics from the screens, and possibly have to pull the engine to check for other damage . When my SC locked up, that gear walked out and got caught on the double gear, which made the engine lock up. You will definately need to get a SC rebuild kit, and should replace with jerry's metal washers. Warranty will cover this. Take it to your dealer.

Ask the tech, if he would put jerry's metal clutches in it for you, or as soon as you get it back, pull the charger, and put them in asap. Make sure they go thru the entire motor, and check your oil pump for scoring also.
