    2006RXP 2 degree wedge

I gotta change my plastic wear ring, piece of crap at 80 hours. While I was changing over to ss I thought I would add the 2 degree wedge while I was in there anyways. Do I have to change the intake grate? Read somewhere that you could have some unpredictable handling if you didn't. Well is the unpredictable handling like going airborne for 50 feet or what? Couldn't I adjust trim back down to compensate?

You don't have to change the intake grate, but its a good idea. I highly recommend the Riva grate. Those of us running any kind of respectable speed are using the Riva grate.

Thanks Green Hulk, that's what I will do then. Saw your article, looks like you are building a rocket on water. I just have to stay ahead of my best friend this summer, he is waiting on his new Kawasaki Ultra SC. I'm not worried though!
