Polaris Genesis I oil question
I have been researching which oil to use in my 2002 Polaris Genesis I FICHT. The service manual says use TC-W3 and the Owner's Manual says TC-W3 or Synthetic. I have some QuickSilver Full Synthetic PWC API-TC type. It then says not for use in engines specifying the use of TC-W3 engine oil.
Will I be alright running this oil in my Polaris?

Lots of different opinions out there and the topic has been discussed several times on here. I even asked the question when I got my Genesis. Here is one post I ran across. There are many more just search the polaris forum for TC-W3 and you will see.

quicksilver synthetic is good oil. Just DO NOT mix synthetic with convential oil. If you are going to use synthetic and there is dino oil in the tank you have to drain everything. Once you stick with synthetic, you have to stick with it, and vise versa
