    xlt oil pump block off

    i have xlt 800, the oil pump bracket rusted out so i made new one,when i installed the cable i did not mark it ,so i just kinda guessed by lookin at corrosion mark,its gettn to much oil, any one know how to adjust the cable? or i can go pre mix,what do i have to do to go premix? if i cant adjust cable..

    If you dont mind premixing the oil its a good way to go. by the time you pull the pipes and factory air box and get a mirror in there to adjust the cable you can plug the oil lines at the carbs and pull the oil pump and put a plate on it and not have to worry about lines coming loose and killing your engine and the mixture will be what you make it.

    I can reach the oil pump cable,just dont know how to adjust it,,does anyone know??
