I am thinking of going with the Skat 160mm pump. This is the email I got from the yesterday.

We do offer a Magnum Pump for the FZR and SHO watercraft. All our products are made to order and Magnum Pumps are running about 4 to 6 weeks right now.

For the SHO/FZR we take the stock Yamaha OEM housing and rebuild it. We bore out the aluminum veins and insert in our Stainless steel vanes and liner. Depending on how big you want to make you pump we might have to reinforce the outside of the housing for strength for an additional cost. Riva Motorsports also make a 160mm wear ring that you can run with the 155mm Stator section. The price for a Skat-Trak 160mm Magnum Pump with impeller of your choice is $1719.00 if you go 162mm it will be $2019.00 for the additional cost of the housing reinforcement.

Feel free to call Glen here at Skat-Trak at 800-969-7528 or Riva Motorosports at 888 493-4006. The technicians at both numbers are very helpful and informative.

It is 1719$ for them to rebuild your OEM pump or for them to supply everything?
What if we already have a Skat prop?

I use a 155mm , I have a JD1 seadoo kit which I am going to try very soon. Just looking for a seadoo pump. I may just pull it out of the rxpx and see how it goes.

I use the stock pump with 160 liner for now

I would like to see some results from the SeaDoo, Rotax and Skat pumps as these cost around 2000-4000 depending on which one you get and so far some of the fastest speeds (proven not just talk) has been with the stock 155MM pump so if you have spent the bucks for one of these pumps are you happy with them and lets here or see some results

    I run a 162mm skatty.

There was no tick box for that so I put in the 160mm skatty section.

Worth the money. Once you buy it you never sell it, just transfer to the next yami which is currently the vxr. Seems to go well in cc formate racing. Not looking for speed anymore (got enough already), just less cavitation and more grip on the water.
