prop pitch and rpm
took my rxt out today for a test, was a bit windy tho
my mods r on my signature but tested it with a 15/20 prop.
at WOT the ski sat at 8160 8180 and ran 113kph on gps
shouldnt i be getting more speed with my setup?.
with the 14/19 i felt the hole shot better and pickup speed alot quicker then 15/20.
also at WOT 14/19 sat at 8160 8180.
would 15/20 be a lil to much for my ski?.
what do u think about repitching the stock rxt prop? they come standard 10/21

I would think there should have been an RPM difference between these 2 props. How's the wear ring, carbon seal? Is it cavitating at all?

if you were on 8180 with the 14/19 and the 15/20 it sounds like your on the limiter.
I know jerry recommended a 15/20 for me with an xcharger without an external IC.

wearing was change during the new prop got installed.
carbon seal is still good the ski has 24 hours on it.
no cavitation as the hole shot is great
i would thought going 15/20 would drop the rpm as i was sitting on the limiter with the 14/19.
but made no difference.
i installed a 15/20 on a friend stock rxtx and it at on 8100 at WOT

You're at sea level making good power! Try a 15/22. If it won't turn it, de-pitch a little.

im gonna try repitching the 15/20 first and if that doesnt work, then start playing with the nozzle ring size..
is there a nozzle ring that we can buy to fit the oem nozzle?? i want to keep my OPAS and you need to remove the OPAS to fit the riva pro series nozzle..what other alternative?
