msx150 mAX 6000RPM. no FAULT LIGHT

2004 msx150, original problem was constant overboost alarm. So i hooked up my DW and found one of the pressure sensors was faulty. Removed both sensors and replaced (lots of oil on them). Also flushed out the intake and intercooler to remove oil.
Replaced wastegate solenoid with upgraded one.
Oil change, coolant change, new plugs etc.

Back on water today and "overboost" fault is gone but the ski now tops out at 6000 rpm with no fault indicator.
I have checked all piping for turbo leak and found nothing.
Any ideas what else I can check or what is causing this problem.

i had the same symptoms. it turned out to be a nakad turbo on mine. try this... remove the turbo-to-inlet boost hose, run the engine on idle, and hold a white piece o paper an inch or so away from the outlet, and see if oil fog appears on paper, if so, your turbo is shot, and the fogging oil is contaminating the pressure sensor.

I agree with spanner. Check turbo compressor for "play". If it wiggles around much, it's shot.

Rebuilt turbos are about $700, or you can upgrade to Desparado's turbo
