    Starter, or Starter Reley ?

I have a fresh battery, with a good charge. But I still am getting a Clunk sound when I try to start it . The ski sat for almost six months. It is a 97 Yamaha 760 wave venture. Do I start with the starter or the relay ? Anybody have any tips ?

Tap on the relay. If this does not work bypass the relay and jump the starter direct. If the starter works than you have a bad relay. I have seen relays stick and a good tap will make it work.

The tap worked ! Thanks It92 . I found a new relay local for 39.95. Now I just need a Carb Kit . I can't wait to get back on the water !
