Is an x-charger worth the expense?

I have the basic bolt onsfor my 05' rxp215 being R&D intake grate, solas 14/19 prop, 4" kanaflex intake, reverse bucket mod and i'll do the ride plate hole mod this weekend.

My question is i can pick up a xchrager and 42lb injectors pretty cheap from a friend for 500. Would there be a significant difference adding these to my set up? I'd like to see 75mph if possible and a boost in acceleration.

I have done the same thing and the x charger is worth the money. Better acceleration and top end. I had a +300 rpm increase. With stock prop top speed was 62 mph and now top speed is 66.9 (GPS speed). Reverse bucket mod..... No change, ride plate holes.... No change. I haven't put the 42lb injectors. Bottom line, just the charger, will make greater difference than all the mods you have done so far!

If you add an X charger to what you have, 75 should be no problem.

This thread has TONS of info regarding the X charger in stock form (no upgraded wheels/or spacers)
like bayouFZR said. He went 79-80 with a x charger, stock ecu, and stock intercooler...(freak of nature ski though)...
