    Kawasaki 300x 10 Hour Service

Yesterday I took my 300x in for the 10 hour service. It ended up costing me $223. It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could give me an idea of what your paying for the 10 hour service. Also, other then change the oil and inspect the super charger belt do you know what else they do? I hope it didn't pay that much for just an oil change.

Is that all they did on your ski?
If yes, it's a TOTAL rip off.

what your paying is $100 an hour for the $12 an hour mechanic to change oil, filter, and hopefully inspect everything. But I think its good insurance so they cant say you did not service it if a problem occurs for warranty purpose. At least for the first 10 hour deal anyways.

I was planning to change the oil myself, but my ski was given to me brand new with a scratch in the bottom. So, I had to take it back for them to fix that, so I thought it would be a good idea to get the first service done by them. That way I'm covered with the warranty too. They didn't break out anything other then the oil and filter on the invoice. I'm not as pisseed off anymore, so that just reafirms that dealerships suck and it pays to do the work yourself.

Just keep the reciepts and log down what was done when to your ski for servicing. You should be covered without problems. That is all I do and have had no problems.
