Putting an external intercooler from an X ski in a regular rxp questions?

Any tips on water routing for the upgrade?
Do I need the high exhaust hose, or can I use a flex hose?
I have all the t's and hoses from the donor ski,
    thanks,

does this intercooler have the bleed line in it or is it the newer one with none. Also I have a rxpx intercooler in mine before she blowed I had the rxpx relocation kit it came with everything. Looks like you need some 3/4 inch hose stock up

I added an 08 X boat IC to my 05 GTX with awesome results! I ended up using the OPAS water source as the source of water for the IC since I had the Riva OPAS kit installed anyway to keep the OPAS raised. I added a "T" fitting to the existing inside OPAS source on the top of the pump tunnel running the 3/4" line to the IC, drilled a hole in a unused port on the pump for the IC exit, also drilled an unused port for the pisser line from the IC. This setup keeps full flow to the exhaust manifold and waterbox as a separate line.

I tried the exact 08 water routing, drilled out the pump orifice, but kept getting overheat issues. The above setup has worked flawlessly!
