    FZS supercharger whine

I just bought me a 2011 FZS and love this thing, but I want to know will a intake makes the supercharger whistle louder?

    Thanks

Thanks for the replies, I think I'm gonna go with the Riva power filter, I would like to hear the SC a little more. Is it a pretty safe setup as far as staying dry not sucking up water, because sometimes I hit pretty big waves and it submerges the ski.

Powerfilter will do the trick for staying high and dry, no question. You absolutly hear the SC more with the powerfilter, even stock. But you have to be listening for it. Take off the seats and you can hear it good.

Well I put my Riva powerfilter on and love the results. I can diffentetly hear it spool up more, does this mod increase the boost at all?

Probably not by itself, but if you do the intake ribbon delete, you supposedly get 1 lb more boost. You should also put a blow off valve on it--won't make it any faster, but will save wear on the supercharger.

If you want to hear that S/C scream you need to get yourself a BLOW OFF valve this will also help you keep your clutch w/o issue, easy to install. my 2 cents.
