    GP1200R questions....

Once again, newby here.....I have a 2000 GP1200R and recently installed the D-plate and chip, when riding it sounds like there is back pressure....is that normal?

Also, has anyone installed that free flow exhaust? Did you buy it or make? Is there a way to make it?

    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure everyone on here have a freeflow, some of us buy it and some make there own... very simple I just got a aluminum tube at work, I forgot what size it is.. your just replace the stock sound suppresion with a tube, didnt cost me anything at all complement of my work place ( but they dont know that).. I have some extra tube sitting around, let me know if you are interested in the DIY tube ...

Sorry I forgot about it, I will get it tomorrow for you.. or what you can do is measure the diameter of the water box outlet and that will give you what size you need, I think it might be
3 1/2 OD tube. and the length is about I think 6 to 8 inches.. But if you get a aluminum tube it will be easier to cut it down if it is too long... you can take the exhaust rubber tube with you to the muffler shop and tell then to fit that.. and just cut the rubber exhuast hose to length...
