    struggling after steep wave jumps

    i was out doing a bit of wave jumping (about 5ft) at the weekend on my rxp, when i landed after take the ski to quite a steep angle it seems to be struggling for fuel, i push the throttle and it misses a few beats and then clears and is back to normal....this used to happen on my old rxp but its only started on this one at the weekend.............any ideas

    Wtaer injestion maybe what intake are you using?

    r & d, but it cleared within a couple of revs, and the r & d has been on for months and has never caused it before

    Which ski is this that you have? Cause my cousin bought an 08 RXPX brand new in the end of 08. From the day he bought it if you jumped any waves it would stumble and then if you shut it off it wouldnt always start back up. Turned out to be some like micro switch or something like that in the tank. Ill ask em in a little while when I see him n post back. GL fixing it.

    There was a recent thread similar to this. They found out the battery was cracked on the hard landing. Take out the battery and inspect it. Might need to be replaced.

    Sounds to me like it's your TOPS (tip over protection system) kicking in.

    when that happened to me it was my rear 2 coil packs came loose
