Quick question just want to make sure.
Going away this week for 2 weeks to the Lake and of course XLT1200 is coming. Is there anything I need to know about leaving it docked when not riding in the water the entire 2 weeks aside from protecting it from knocking against the dock? It is fine to be in the water the entire time right? If not trailer and launch ramp is very close by.
Thanks as always!

A mushroom anchor works great in lakes. This way, your hull is not damaged by docks or any other structure as it is floating. Let your boat float without running for an hour and check the hull for any water intrusion. Do this every hour for about 3 hours. If you have no problems by this time, then you will not have any problems.
This strategy does not work in the case of any pranksters in the area. You are on your own on that.
