pro1200 uses a 2 1/4" inlet with the red pipe,pro785 uses a 3" inlet.i had a custom one made with a 3" inlet to fit my pro1200 with triple pipes but sold it to somebody, was a little more sound then i wanted

How can you tell which one you have?
I bought a brand new one on ebay a few years back for $35 for my Virage. I just looked on their website, and it says its only for the 2000 Virage TX.
I have an 02 TXi that I was planning on using it on. AFAIK all the 1200 Virages used the same waterbox.

so your using a pro1200 waterbox on a pro785 and running an adapter to choke down the 3" outlet to the 2 1/4" waterbox inlet??A virage txi should be running a log manifold with a different style waterbox than a regular virage tx.

Yes that's exactly what I did, I was runing just a strait pipe for a while but wanted to try out a tdr for the 785 but they don't make one. The outlet is the same size but as u stated the inlet is smaller
