    95 slx 780 driveshaft

I have been reading this forum for a couple of year and I have learned a lot from you guys and thank you all for your knowledge. I have a95 slx 780 that just ate its driveshaft, bearing and coupler. I can find parts for 96 and newer. The pictures look like they changed the design. Do any of you very knowledgable people know if a 96 driveshaft will work in my 95?

You need the long driveshaft. I think all the 96 models except the SL700 and SL 780 used the long driveshaft

Thank you ByranP. I know that I need the longer shaft but looking at the pictures of the newer shafts the impeller end looks like they made them different. I don't know if that will cause any issues.

You can use any Polaris 24 3/8" driveshaft with no problem.

Go ahead and use the 96 DS you found.
