Ski was running great, ran it WOT for about 2 min on flat water. Once back to boatramp ski wouldnt idle but would run. Got home, pulled plugs and seen some shavings on #3 plug. Pulled head and this is what I have.

Other 2 cyl look new! Should crank and Case be ok?

I think this can be caused by a few things. You need to pull the PV cover and inspect it to see if the PV dropped. The PV damage could just be from the ring catching on it.

Looks like a ring got caught judging from the damage to the cylinder wall. I would check the lower part of the case to make sure that shavings are not in the bottom because they could damage your new piston and cylinder.
