    First Ski

Hey everybody been bitten by the bug lol and am looking for my first ski.

    Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Little background about myself im 21 years old have been riding dirt bikes and quads all my life and have a Honda CBR 600rr bike. Not new to the powersports department but am totally new to the PWC depr. I have rented skis multiple times and the ones that I have driven are Honda and Yamaha's and have liked them both. Doing some research I have found that the top dogs in the PWC game are Yamaha and Sea Doo (I think haha). With that said I see more Yamaha's for sale then the Sea Doo's.

    Thanks
    -Chris

BTW my location is about 15 miles north away from NYC

    Welcome to the HULK..

If you are just N of the city my guess is you will be riding the Hudson and the sound so I would go with a three seater. If you are a lake rider the small two seater are tons of fun..

Figure out what your goals are as far as choppy water or passengers (2/3 seater).

Then look at how fast you want to go for hp rating.

Then figure out which brand you like styling better of or which is more suited to your riding style. You need to give us more info before we can give you suggestions.

Budget helps too - big difference between new and used skis.
