Speed issue on RXP-X with mods

I need help I cannot see anything faster than 70.6 on my GPS. Shouldn't I be running faster? I know it is hot here in florida though. Is the heat killing my speed?

    Here are my mods:

    15/22R- Untouched
    RIVA SS Wear ring
    RIVA Catch can
    Kanaflex 4" intake
    R&D intake grate
    RIVA Flame arrestor mod
    Groco Strainer
Fizzle IC kit to relocate IC
    RIVA Wedge
    RIVA VTS Extension rod
    RIVA Thermostat 160 degree
    83mm RXP nozzle
RIVA FuelPRessure Rgulator set to 11.8
Super Charger slip checked and in spec.

    Sea-level, Air 91 and Water 89

Wideband reading 11.8 at WOT and boost at 10.4

What is your WOT rpms? Check your VTS rod adjustment. You should atleast be around 75+ in this heat right now with the mods you have.

Wot RPM's are 8000 If I recall. The VTS rod is the Riva one. I don't know where it should be adjusted to. I also need to do another boost leak as I have taken the ski apart several times. So I should see 75+ awesome I figured it was low.

Recheck for boost leaks. Make sure the intake grate is back as far as you can get to the rideplate. Get RPMs up to 8100-8120. I just eyeball the VTS rod adjustment usually. Set the trim all the way up amd make sure the bottom of the exit nozzle and the steering nozzle are level with each other.

All your numbers sound about right, except for speed.

Had a friend of mine that had almost the same mods and had the similar problem of low speed. It turned out that he had taken it to the dealer with about 20 or so hours with a blown head gasket and the dealer had skipped a tooth on the timing chain.

10.5 LBS sounds almost right a 8K, should be around 11 LBS.

Have you have anything done to it internally?
When was the last time you changed your spark plugs?
Have you ever left your gas cap open and gotten water inside your fuel?

Not giving you any other signs it's acting up like in the pump area???no cavitation?? impeller cone walkin up shaft?? just throwing things out there.

15/22 seems a little much for this heat and a x charger right now.. just curious..

hmm I put it all the way up. Didn't think it should be any different.

I bought the ski second hand with 80 hours so i do not know the history of it.

I replaced the bello, carbon seal, and added the speed freaks bello band and had a little cavitation. I added the Rvia SS wear ring and resealed the pump area as JP told me and it took care of all cavitation. Thanks JP for the help on that.

i haven't had a chance to see what is wrong.

I will check for boost leak, change plugs which i did when I first bought it. etc...

I should have also told you guys I also have a 06 RXP with similiar mods and the only thing different is that ski runs a 15/20 and it runs 72.3. Speed looks low on that ski as well i think.
