    2008 GTX Limited 215 build

    After placing an order with Greenhulk this morning i decided its time to start a build thread.

    Ski is a 2008 Sea Doo GTX Limited 215, currently with ~48 hours.

    Photo from March this year, on the flooded Murray River in Renmark, South Australia.

    Completed mods:
    Riva finger throttle
    • Rule 1100gph automatic bilge pump
    Groco inline filter

    Mods ordered:
    • X Charger
    • Bosch #42 injectors
    • Fizzle 4" air intake
    • Fizzle catch can
    • Solas 15/20R impeller
    • Riva OPAS blockoffs (non pro)
    • Riva 2º wedge

    Future mods:
    • TDR 3" thru hull exhaust
    • Fizzle intercooler
    • Les cooke ECU flash
    • Les cooke retainers or Riva valve springs/retainers
    • ET137 wheel
    • Fuelling as needed e.g. RRFPR

    Hopefully one day - TURBO!!
    (will only happen once I'm happy iv got he fab skills to make my own kit)

    Will take photos of each step.

    Current top speed: 106kph (65.9mph)

    Cant wait for 1) the parts to arrive 2) weather to warm up a touch (not unridable, just not real comfortable)

    mac-man, you stepping it up to rumble with the boys @skifari this year!!
    I did similar mods to you on my old rxt (see my sig at bottom) except no opas bo, no wedge, and a solas 13/18r best speed was 73mph.
    The x charger was a great mod but reflashing the ecu really woke the ski up!!!!!!!!
    Good luck with the build, i might see it @ skifari!

    All going well i will be making the 1400km trip to skifari

    Im wondering if the 15/20 is too strong of a prop but its what jerry recommended...

    mate, i was turning a 15/20 to 8100 rpm with the c kit and stock ECU and stock nozzle.. our ski's should be the same spec.. but as bradsta said, i think you may need 14/19 to start off with.. is the reflash going higer in rpm???

    looks like c kit makes about 4-5psi more boost than a x charger - which i intend to have for a little while at least before going et

    might see if I can get jerry to change my order if its not shipped yet...

    Reflash will have a ~8600 limit when it happens (might not be for another year yet)

    Last night i removed the stock air intake (all except the box on the fuel tank)

    Removed everything needed to get the charger out

    But didn't have a 1/4 spanner to remove the rear bolt on the charger (only 6 and 7mm, 6 too small - 7 too big)

    Fizzle catch can is installed but its not a real good fit in 3 seater - had to be backwards and even then the valve at the bottom only just clears the fuse box.

    Pulled the stock charger last night, has gold metal washers (as expected on an 0

    So i put it back together for now - few parts i ordered from GH are back ordered and would like to ride in a week or two.

    Also gives me a chance to test what the fizzle alone does to top speed.

    Nice build I'm excited to see the outcome. And in order to reflash the ecu you need the retainers and all that right?
