The tool to do this is big $$$$$$$$$ but make sure you use it or other issues can happen. You may be able to rent it from your dealer if you are in with them like that.

Goto sbt 150 for the tool but you will be able to return it for a discount if you go and pull the motor you dont have to realign it if you pull the bolts and leave mounts in hull, However I will do it. You won half the battle pulling the motor do it right and align it.

I disagree......anytime the engine is moved/removed a re-alignment is necessary. The pic reveals a misalignment after the dealership installed the engine and did not perform the required alignment.....causing an oil leak at the PTO seal. The engine mounts were not disturbed.

causing an oil leak are you serious.... i have seen so many skis with the engine more misaligned than that and no oil leaks.... mine especially, parts do eventually wear out and maybe the dealer damaged a seal while installing the shaft, it can happen if your not careful

Yep.....go ahead, don't re-align your engine. When it starts leaking oil please refer back to this thread.

i have the engine alignment tool thank you very much.... im just sayin something else happend to this ski, leaks just dont appear because of a misaligned motor.... a water leak maybe but oil no way.... there is a small seal inside the splined part of the PTO in the end of the crank and that can cause a leak.. esp if you slice it while reinstalling the driveshaft
