Filling In Around Trim Tabs Y/N
Hi guys is there any gains in fill in around the trim tabs with 5200 or not i have not read about it anywhere it s just a thought.
Where filling in the bolt holes so why would this be any different or does it make the ski un safe to ride to much of a flat surface..

big no-no, it destroyed my handling. I tried it and the ski did not like it. I had filled all the gaps with magnum steel and had sanded it smooth to meet the trim tabs and i also did the gaps between the plate and each tab.
Took some speed away too. My guess is that the water needs those gaps for tension relief at the back of the hull.

I know of a guy who did it down here and got ejected...
It changes the handling too much IMO too
