2008 GP1300R Engine Temp Sensor Bypass
My GP1300R is throwing code 15, indicating a bad engine temp sensor. The ski is not overheating, its just a bad sensor.
I'm at the beach on vacation and cant get a new one delivered before my trip is over. Does anyone know of any tricks to bypass this sensor?
One guy suggested unplugging the sensor and attaching a 10 ohm resistor in place of the sensor. I've tried both a 10 ohm and a 10 kOhm resistor, with no luck.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to you all in advance,
