GP 1200 Millennium questions.
I'm new to the forum, and just picked up a 2000 GP1200 Millennium with 52hrs. I was wondering if this is considered a 1200R. I'm having some cavitation issues for about 4 seconds when punching it for a dead stop. After about 15-20mph, it pulls really hard up to about 59mph (gps). With only 52hrs, should I be looking at the impeller or intake grate? Does my ski have a wear ring that I can replace to bring the tolerance between the impeller and housing back to spec if it is out?

Yeah, there is a wear ring that you can replace. I would suggest the one with plastic inserts.
But first, I would try to seal the pump shoe. It might fix you problems completely.
Seal the Pump Shoe (2 routes):
-You can buy the Pump Plug Kit and install it.
-You can buy a two part resin. It takes a little bit longer, but it is more cost effective. Process. (See second half of post #14)

You can go with a stainless steel wear ring, last you a lot longer then the plastic..
