Cavitation after sealing the pump shoe...

I just sealed my pump shoe about 2 weeks ago, but I still have BAD cavitation! The ski revs up but doesn't go anywhere for a good 5-10 seconds.

Here's a picture I took before I sealed the pump shoe:

I thought the spacing around the impeller was good, but now I'm second guessing my self. Should I buy a new wear ring (I'm thinking the plastic insert one) or impeller and see if that does the trick?

A pitch of 13/19 is best on a practically stock 1200r, right?

13/19 for a stock or lightly modded ski. That wear ring looks bad-40 thousands is max clearance and that looks triple that in the pic.

If the wear is in the ring as appears, good time to replace both as the impeller doesn't look too hot. I've always just had light mod'd skis and have done okay with the 13/19, as well as the Nujet (6.5, I think).

Good point on the nujet. IDE probally go with the c6 over the 6.5 unless you plan some bolt on mods soon. I sell the nujets for $175 new and the pump housing with the replaceable wear ring for $199. Lmk if I can help

Right now I have a d plate and an intake grate, and that's probably not going to change anytime soon. With that in mind, you think I'd be better off with a Nujet C6 over a Solas DF 13/19?

Either one-on a mildly modded or un modded ski ive never been able to tell the difference between a nujet and a concord(the dynafly is for the 05 and up ho pumps-Like the 06 gpr1300 in your sig-the non ho pumps use a solas concord) They are both good impellers but the nujets will save you $100 over the solas.
