Need advice on choosing a new PWC.

I need to replace a 1994 Polaris SL 750 for fresh water lake riding. I would like a basic 4 cycle, 3 seater that is (in order of priority):

    1) Dependable (I don't need a lot of extras. Extra electronics and gadgets are a minus.)
    2) Affordable (With my budget of $3000, used is a given).
    3) Not too old (preferably 5-6 years old).
    4) Stable in light chop.
    5) Able to pull a single person tube or a skier.

Does anybody have suggestions for models that might meet these requirements? Thanks for your help in advance!

OK, I guess a 2 stroke would be OK if anybody knows of a model that meets my other desires.

If 3 grand is your budget, Id stick with the Polaris a few more years and save some more cash...........

Only 4 stroke you can get for $3 grand would be a 2002 SeaDoo GTX 4 tec or an 2005/06 Yamaha VX if you look hard enough.
