I have no scientific number for you but the first time I took it out when it was brand new I burned through $130 bucks of 93 octane at $3.80 a gallon. 7.50 hours total for the weekend. Next weekend at $80.00 for 3.5 hours and burnt through $60 last weekend for 2.5 hours. Yeah she thirsty on the gas but I like going fast. Gotta pay to play is what I am trying to tell myself.

If you ride to the same throttle % it uses more
Jet250 & I were training for the LB2CAT and he was on my 300 , I was on my 9.5 piston 250x (07 ) and at the end of each ride their was stuff all difference, on average my 300x used 10 more ltres per ride..
So at the end of the day i say they are better on fuel considering performance increase over 250-60 ski

Pretty simple, the LB2CAT guys say that they can go WOT for 58 miles on one tank, Race takes ~1hr. guess the burn rate is 22 gallons / hr. at WOT...

even simpler if you look in the manual @WOT 23.3 gallons hr, cruising range 55.2mi, 50 minutes.
aussie terms @WOT 88.3 L/H, 88.8km, 50minutes.

2.8 GpH at wot race conditions as compared to 3.1 on a 260 or my 250 if you cruise 65 or under it's the same as 250-260
