2002 genesis got spark, no fuel...
Ok, its a 2002 genesis DI, daughter was riding the other day and it died, wouldn't start. took it home checked spark, good on all three, checked fuel pressure, good. put a little gas in each jug and it started right up and ran. Left it for a couple hours and it wouldnt start again. could it be the infamous fuel pump issue? Any help would be appreciated,

What was your fuel pressure? Check the voltage on the red/white wire running to the injectors. With the injectors plugged in you should get about 20V when cranking the engine and about 45 if the engine starts.

One other thing...Your battery needs to be able to supply at least 10.6 volts WHILE CRANKING. If the voltage is below that either recharge the battery or get a new one. Wal Mart batteries dont cut it, you need a good quality battery, I would suggest an AGM battery like the Odyssey pc 625.
