2009 FZR Price New?
Newbie, here- but not to PWC's. Thanks for great info so far!!
Upgrading my 2- 2003 Polaris MSX 140's and am looking at a 2009 FZR for myself.
I have read up about the bucking issue, and if I go for it would get the R&D grate.
My local dealer has FOUR....yes I said FOUR brand new 2009 FZR's on his showroom floor.
What should I offer him for one of them,considering he obviously wants them to go!
Thanks in advance....

we paid 10.5 for our 09 FZS in 2010, I would say 9,500 . Our dealer is also still selling 09's, and has a bunch.. Yamaha must have overestimated the demand for this ski, up until yesterday we had the only one I have seen on the River, S or R.

I'd start out at $9000 with the trailer. You should be able to get a final haggeling price right at $9500. A buddy of mine just picked his up for $ 8700 with out a trailer. Zero hours on it. They need to move it, so make them work for it.

Nice! We got ours for around $10k ea last year;
unbeatable package for performance, reliability and value!
Keep them stock or you can mod them up to blow anything off the water.
Make sure you tell him to include the 5 year extended warranty in all price discussions.
I bought the R&D grates and our dealer installed them for free.

I got my '09 FZR for under $10K about a year ago (new off the floor, no trailer). I think I ended up just over 10 OOD. Now that they are 3 years old and taking up inventory space, you should be able to get one for quite a bit less. I think you should be able to get out of there for well under $10K with a trailer OOD.
