    Fuel pressure ???

I am testing the fuel pressure, when installing the lanyard and the fuel pump runs for approximately 2 seconds and shows approximately 60 PSI. Once you remove the lanyard how long should it hold pressure ?

In the service manual it mentions rapid and slow pressure loss, just looking for a general idea on how much time that would be.

ETA- this is with the stock fuel pump and pressure regulator on a '07 RXP.

    thanks,

my RXTX w/riva RRFPR holds pressure ( not full 58psi) for a while, it bleeds down slowly. My GPRXP with a Aeromotive RRFPR and a Beerdart rail bleeds down almost to 0 seconds after the fuel pump stops priming.

Never measured my stocker, but with the Riva RRFPR set at 60 psi, as soon as I remove the key it starts to go down somewhat quickly ... I think that is pretty normal.

Same it drops quickly as soon as lanyard is pulled.

If you have a RRFPR, pressure drops quickly when you kill the engine due to the return line.

My stock fuel pump/ regulator seems to work ok at idle. Going to go to a Walbro to see if that helps. Some time this week I hope to be able to do a leak down test.
