When the low fuel warning comes on you have about 4 gallons left.

mine comes on when the sensor reads about one bar of fuel. i would guess closer to 3 gallons or less because each bar is 2 gallons. either way you probably have less that 20 mins of riding time left on that tank of gas, depending on how fast you go of course.

I'm thinking it's a little different on all ski's. Mine runs out in 15-20 minutes riding time taking it easy after the warning comes on, kinda scary because I've seen it go from 3 bars to warning in just a few minutes.

It's a light and long beeps every minute or so. I've had mine on the buzzer for at least a half an hour and made it several miles.

every bar is NOT 2 gallons. I know it should be but it isn't.

All of BRP's manuals say reserve is 4 Gal (15L). My own observations (as well as others) say the same.

    ok thanks for that guys
and by the way, the time it takes for the first bar to empty is about the same for the next 3, they arnt constant at all, usually the few above half go fast and the rest are alright.. they arnt equal at all

I was riding with a buddy of mine and he was short of fuel and we were way short of the fuel dock by 14.6 miles (GPS). His buzzer went off showing no bars, and we made it....

The ski took 15.3 gallons of fuel to fill it up.

The gauge doesn't read the fuel in the neck.
