Holes in Impeller (03 XLT 1200)

    Hey guys!

Totally new to the site and to waverunners. Just bought an 03 XLT1200 and had noticed small holes in the impeller (one on each blade). I thought they might be caused by cavitation. Three rides later and the holes are about twice the size. The ski also cavitates pretty badly at speeds < 20 mph.

I'm thinking of one more ride and I'll have to replace the impeller. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I wouldnt ride that, by the look of it, seem like it can and will come part causing more damage, dont risk it when the impeller is pushing that water it's a lot of load on it...

Thanks for the offer! I think I'm going to try a Solas Concord impeller and seal the pump / shoe as well. I'm new to the waverunner world, so I've been trying to read alot on these forums. I think the cavitation created the holes / erosion issue and I want to address the source of the problem if I can.

I'm up in NE Ohio. Most of my time on the waverunner will be on Lake Erie.
