    Question 300X Sponsons

I got my 300X last weekend. Loving it so far! I drove a Seadoo 255iS for more than two years. I only ride open sea and the stock rear sponsons were too "soft". I changed them to Riva Sponsons on it and it made worlds of difference.

Now the 300X grip on the water much stronger than the Seadoo. Do I still need sponsons for the 300X to make the rear end sway less easily?

If I do, Is RIVA($389) or R&D($356) Better? Both of them is not long enough to cover the backing plate as the Seadoo version (Looks kinda weird imo)

Can anyone give me some advice?

    Thanks

At first I didn't like the stock one for offshore, but after hours on the 300X... You get used to it and will love it
As for CC, I would go RnD

Hmm...just goes to show rider preferrence. I thought just the opposiste. R & D or stock for offshore, Farthing/MM or TBM for closed course. I absolutely could not get my 250 to turn with R&D sponsons on a tight course. they were stable as hell and I could make up a crap load of time in the slalom sections, but I was getting murdered in teh tight sections. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input. I have decided to play with the stock sponsons more first!
