Any one running a RIVA STAGE III KIT in a RXT?
Hey I am new to the forum. I have a 2006 RXT with a Stage III kit. I am currently runnin 72 mph on GPS in 102 degrees and heat index 115 w/ high humidity. Is this speed what I should be runnin?

Well..... I am not sure if you are jacking with us or not...
but those speeds at that heat is more like stage 3 on an rxt.

for that amount of heat that is good speed id say however...
75mph should be around under normal circumstance especially with the New updated Riva stage 3 kit that includes an X Charger... we need to get those RPMs up from 8400, you should be at 8600.... that prop needs to be sent out to speedfreaks... i think they added to much pitch

Yes it is a RXT w/Stage III added. No kidding lol
Hey Mike, should we try the 83 mm nozzle ring? The 82 is in it now. Thats good for 200 rpms right?

Hey Jerry it is Robert (Bob) with the 2003 Yellow and Black C-5 Z06 Vette on FB, any way last time out it was struggling to get to 8400 but it was 102 out with heat index 115. I have the 82 mm nozzle ring But J&J Powertsports outta Wilmington, DE, tweaked the prop I think 2 mm up on the leading edge so that has me confused. They said it was hitting the rev limiter when they tested it and tweaked it. Now I have no idea what it is now. It used to be the size that comes with the Stage III kit.

i think you should go back to the 15/18 or try something more aggressive on the leading edge like a 13/18 maybe speedfreeks can chime in when he gets back from vacation... i think the rings are good for 50-100rpm not 200.. 83 will give u better hole shot, you should use that and tweek prop accordingly.. i would wait to see what happens in better weather, the bigger the boost the more we will suffer with it being hot out that is totally normal
