Thread: H1 riva 20 psi

    H1 riva 20 psi

    am thinking to go with the H1 20 PSI riva wheel is it safe for my motor because its oem no upgrades ..... my fzr 2011 have this modification :

    1.R3 ECU R&D
    2.JD INTERCOOLER with HKS pov JD
    3.Performance Power Filter Kit RIVA
    4.Engine Breather Upgrade Kit RIVA
    5.Water Box, Pro-Series RIVA
    6. Rear Exhaust KIT RIVA
    7.Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit RIVA
    8.YAMAHA ENGINE / INTERCOOLER COOLING KIT R&D
    9.INTAKE GRATE R&D
    10. 13/25 Skat Trak Swirl Impell


    please help members with your advice and i will be thanks full

    I wouldn't with those mods.

    I would go with a ET15.5psi wheel on a Riva Shaft.

    If you want to go w/ the H1, you'll need upgraded internals. Riva (or other) pistons, Carrillo rods and the Riva valve train upgrade. You'll probably need a powershot also. 20 lbs boost is really pushing the R3. If you plan to spend more than a few secs at WOT, your injectors duty cycle will be pushed to the max. An R8 flash plus 725 injectors would be a lot safer. You're looking at nearly 3k in additional mods.

    If you watch your AFRs closely, you could probably get away adding with the ET LB wheel as is.

    are you running it with a oem wheel?
    how is the cavitation with the skat 13/25?

    I am installing the H1 right now with a Rotax racing clutch. I have full stage 3 Riva upgrades with 3Bar map sensor and 1000cc injectors. The guys at Riva have cautioned me that internals, if not necessary would be HIGHLY recommended. I'm hoping to hold on until the fall before i have them installed. I should have the ski back in a week or so. I will post if I run into any problems.

    I'm not bashing the Reflash but it would be way easier and safer to run a programmable ECU with such a BIG wheel. I personally did not go with this wheel because RIVA told me not to. They said if I ran this wheel I either spend a little bit now on the internals and if I don't I will be spending a lot more down the road when my engine goes BOOM!!!!!!! If you plan on running this wheel I recommend programmable ECU with 1000cc injectors, 3 bar map sensor and Riva internals and supercharger shaft. As of now I'm running this same setup with an E1 wheel plus everything in the internals upgrade except rods and pistons and RIVA still advised me to be careful on the E1 wheel. JMO

    with the 13/25 the ski is nearly good at 3500 rpm
