Maximum GPS logging time on 512k?

    Hi

What is the maximum GPS logging time when only logging GPS only. If someone with a MoTec can turn all other channels off but leave GPS on and maybe play around with the sampling rate and fill me in, it would be much appreciated. I am looking for about 2.5hours worth of logging so if a few other channels can be thrown i that would be great to know.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
    Should do that easy
I will need to go on line to an ECU to confirm but when I configure one of our early dashes with 384k logging for 1 channel at 2 hz I get 27 hours
Seems a little high to me but will come back to you and confirm once I get on line to an ECU

    Cheers

    Cool thanks.

For 2.5 hours can it log
    -GPS
    -RPM
    -Lambda
    -engine temp
    -intake temp

I think that would do. I tend to ride till my tank is on the buzzer then i cruise home. So it would be cool if you could look over a long run plus overlay that on to google earth.

    Thanks

    Hi
I configured up the following at a slow rate.

    GPS Speed
GPS Longitude and Latitude, so you can see where you have been on Google Earth
    RPM
    Throttle Position
    Manifold Pressure
    Inlet Air Temp
    Engine Temp
    3 Error Groups

At 1 time per second on all those channels you get over 8 hrs of logging (surprised even me)
If you only wanted 2.5 hrs then you can log those faster changing channels at a higher rate to suit.
You can configure the logging to start and stop at certain RPM or have it only log when a switch is on or even create a condition in the ECU (through an Aux Output) to turn the switch on or off automatically.

    Cheers
