    100mph watercraft

Realistically how much money would it take to build a 100mph watercraft. How many are out there right now.Would it be possible to do this with a 06 seadoo rxt?

An rxt? Not likely. Anything is possible. Better build a turbo gprxp conversion. Less money and time easier to get there. Could do a 3 rRude conversion instead of turbo. Might have to spin it 9200 and might get away with 8800 on a reflash and the built engine will last longer For a good built engine looking at 8-10k with headwork and valve upgrade. Mine is gonna be around 5600 with the reflash. Just a thought. I am only gonna turn 8800. 3rude conversion or a turbo conversion. Or you could get an rxp hull and go turbo.

I built my conversion for $17000 and it ran 92 at best with ET SCer. I spared no exspense.... So $40,000 NO way. I mean add malvins turbo kit for $6000 and I would have only been around $21000 as my ET was almost $2000. SO I would say a Turbo conversion could be done in the $20 to $25 K

AND I have built one and spared no exspense.

$$$ would depend on your skills..i would say a set up like i am building with a stand alone would be capible???

i better not have 40 k in it.. i don t plan on pushing it that far..i cant afford to blow it up..

at that speed the hull is everthing..

Life insurance will cost you out the rear to run 3 digits. LOL
If you are able to acomplish the goal, be sure to wear ballistic shorts and more!!!
Also, be sure to not chop that throtle to miss any bugs or birds at that speed.

Joking aside, be careful and sure that your ski is up to snuff.

Good points Austin, easiest (and cheapest) way to hit legit 100 mph is a turbo GPRXP, but even that requires careful tuning and knowledge. OP asked about 100 mph on a RXT ... IMO, not possible unless you do something really crazy like convert it to prop drive or install a 600 hp turbine or something like that.

Its not weight of the hull ... not even close. IT is EFFICIENCY of the hull and the drive/propulsion choice, then HP. If you really want 100 mph, don't even think about trying with an RXT.
