Pro X vs wiseco and sbt vs wsm pistons

any feedbacks with this brands?and when do you use performance pistons like prox or wiseco?and are sbt or wsm pistons good enough for replacement on stock motors?or if your motor has a few modifications like rejeted carbs, flame arrestors, and buckshot head is it safe to use sbt or wsm's?

No, just keep the mixture correct.

I have used plenty on wsm and sbt pistons with good results, none of the engines were highly modified, they were mostly stock.

Pro X and OEM and then maybe Wiseco. Don't waste your time and money on the others. IMO.

I actually have had more bad luck with OEM, Pro-X and Wiseco pistons than with WSM and SBT pistons. One thing is for sure; if you are just running a stocker, stay away from Wiseco pistons, especially on a 951. The clearances have to be set up too loose, and that is hard on the skirts on a 951. After I welded up a 951 case because the Wiseco's let loose at about 10 hours, I put WSM pistons in it, and it has run about 50 hours since that time with no issues.....
