2004 RXP Knock adapter help please

Did the 04 RXP come with an adopter from the factory?

Mine has an adapter that has a date of 06.05.2004 on the tag and a part number of 665340 on it.

I don't see part number 278002050 anywhere on the label....

If the 04's didnt' come with any adapter than it looks like I have the correct one. Wish it said the correct part number on it for my piece of mind.

My ski will only go 59mph and it stuck at 7500rpms...

Has it been hooked to buds for a software update?

It had the adapot pluggede in when I bought it in 06 so i assume it was plugged in.

No boost leak and using 93 octane. 100% stock. Will only hit 61 mph on GPS at 7500 rpm. 69 hours.

I had greenhulk replace the stock washers with his metal ones at 10 hours.

Do you guys think his washers are already slipping?

disconect the pig tail and see if your rpms go up.i bought a 04 that had a new ecu put in so it was updated by buds but the pig tail was never added.once i added it fixed my problems.if rpms dont go up then check for boost leaks or check supercharger slip.

Try those things.... Check the slip on the charger as it may be slipping. I would also second unplugging the update harness.

I unplugged the harness today and was only able to hit 7100 rpms. It's limited to 7500 with the harness plugged in.

To test for clutch slip I take a broom and block the impeller then take a socket (what size?) hooked to a torque wrench and test for 75 pounds?

If the gas station said it was 93 octane but it was only 92 or 89 could that kill 300 rpms?
