Stopping for water skier or tuber?

I know I have done this so many times. I am riding a busy lake on the weekend and the freakin idiots pulling there 5 year old kids on tubes or skis on the busiest part of the lake lose one of them and they dont realize it and there kid is bobbing around in a death trap with there parents still going. I have stopped to sit next to them because I felt bad and dont want to see them get hit. Then when the parents do finally come back they act like what the hell are you doing here!! It just annoys me that people are so dumb. Does anyone else do this??

We've done that on the boat but never the skis. It's too bad people can't just be thankful for someone protecting their kids from their own stupidity.

The question I have is why are people towing a tube or skier through the main traffic areas of a lake.. I was in northern wisconsin on the chain of lakes and morons are pulling tubes with kids on them through channels between lakes that are no more than 50 or 60 feet wide. You shouldn't even be allowed to tow someone through heavy traffic areas like that

Here at home, You have to have someone watching the skiers, or you will get ticketed.

You are a good man for watching out for those kids. The parents should be candidates for an azz whoppin for putting their kids in that position.

They do it in the main channel here too With Boats going every different direction. I know they do it so the kids can hit some waves.

You need a spotter here in VA too. They just simply stop paying attention.

Spotter required here in AR also along with an orange flag on your boat if someone is skiing, on a tube or swimming out of the boat.
